JUNE NEWSLETTER OZARK CHAPTER OF THE GPAA The chapter had its second outing of the year on June 9, 10, 11, and 2009 at Richard Howards place near Cass Arkansas on Mountain Creek. We had a few campers Friday night. Jim Bagwell was up early and in the creek where he stayed until it was time for the metal detector hunt. People started showing up mid morning and by the time of the hunt there were about 15 people that participated including one crazy person in a wet suit. People hunted off and on until it was time for our business meeting and then some went back and hunted till dark after the potluck dinner. The business meeting was called to order at about 5:00 pm by Jim Bagwell. Cheryl Echols was present and was presented the Gold nugget she won at the last outing. Jean Bagwell reported we had $1124.00 in the bank. Under old business it was decided the next outing would be at K.C. Jones farm in Cincinnati the directions will follow. The chapter voted to provide Rodney $200.00 for hauling the trailer and taking care of the port-a-potty. There was no other old business. There was no new business. So we proceeded to the next item and that was the election of officer for the next two years.
